Grilled Tuna Steak

Fresh tuna is a great fish to cook on the barbecue because it’s firm and meaty – so it stands up well to the fierce heat. This recipe takes minutes to prepare and fresh tuna is also a great source of Omega 3 so it’s brilliant for your health. This recipe is simple, tasty and full of zingy flavours.

 

 

BBQ Grilled Tuna Steak

Ingredients

  • 4 Fresh Tuna steaks
  • Juice of 2 lemons
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp light soy sauce
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 spring fresh Rosemary

 

 

Method

  1. Drizzle the lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, garlic and herbs over the tuna steak.
  2. Marinade for 30 minutes.
  3. Barbecue the tuna for two minutes on each side until it’s sealed on the outside, but still pink in the middle.
  4. Cut into thick slices and serve with salad and a squeeze of lemon juice.
