Weetabix Cake

This is a delicious low fat version of malt loaf. This cake is a healthier option than your usual cake recipe thanks to the genius addition of Weetabix to the mix. The fibre-rich cereal is balanced out with fruit which reduces the amount of sugar.


  • 2 Weetabix
  • 113g sultanas
  • 142ml skimmed milkeggs
  • 142ml water
  • 113g self-raising flour
  • 1 teaspoon mixed spice
  • 14g artificial sweetener
  • 1 egg beaten


  1. Put weetabix and sultanas/raisins in a bowl and add water and milk.
  2. Let it soak.
  3. Then mix in flour, spice, sweetner and egg
  4. Get a small loaf tin and grease.
  5. Add the mixture and let cook in a 180° pre heated oven for approx 1hr 15 minutes.
