Listen To Your Body

Your body is sending you messages all the time and if you’re like many people, even though your body is tired and begging you to slow down, you’re afraid of what will happen if you do. The right amount of exercise at the right intensity is good. The difficulty is working out when enough is enough and when it’s just too much. The good news is that our bodies already know the answer.

Some steps to get you listening to your body:

  1. Slow down.
Take a break from your workouts to focus on recovery.
  2. Relax and breathe deep
Take some rest days and focus on getting quality sleep and eating nutritious whole foods.
  3. Move without thinking or deciding
When you’re relaxed, your inhales will give you a lift, and your exhales will make you more movable. So just breathe and go along for the ride.
