Gingerbread Hot Chocolate

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of milk (unsweetened almond milk)
  • 1 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp. honey
  • 1/8th tsp. ground ginger
  • 1/8th tsp. cinnamon
  • Small pinch of ground cloves

Method

  1. Combine milk, cocoa powder, honey, ginger, cinnamon and cloves in a small pot.
  2. Gently heat over a medium low heat, whisking until all the ingredients are combined and the cocoa is simmering (don’t boil so that the milk doesn’t separate).
  3. Pour into a mug and enjoy.

  3. Remove the tea bag and whisk in cocoa powder and honey until well combined.
  4. Pour into your favourite mug and enjoy.
