Baked Stuffed Peaches
This is a delicious dessert using sweet, juicy peaches baked in wine and topped with amaretti crumbs. This is a sweet treat that is quick and easy to make and at only 160 calories per serving you can enjoy it without feeling guilty!
Baked Stuffed Peaches
Ingredients
- 4 ripe peaches, halved and stoned
- 25 grams butter
- 25 grams light muscovado sugar
- 150 ml (¼ pint) dessert wine or orange juice
- 25 grams amaretti biscuits, crushed
Method
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (200°C fan) mark 7.
- Put the peach halves into an ovenproof dish, cut side up, and dot the fruit with the butter.
- Sprinkle over the light muscovado sugar and pour over the dessert wine or orange juice.
- Scatter over the crushed amaretti biscuits and cook for 8 – 10min until the peaches are soft and the butter and sugar have melted.
