Recent research has found that about sixty percent of the population are deficient in vitamin D. Vitamin D is important for the absorption of calcium and so is needed for strong bones. It is also important for healthy muscles and eyes. Normally, our body takes in Vitamin D in the form of sunlight through the skin.
